Q2 2024 Card Battler Apps Performance on Unified Platforms

In Q2 of 2024, the card battler genre continued to captivate users on unified platforms. Sensor Tower's latest data provides a glimpse into how these games fared during this period.

Pokémon TCG Live saw a declining trend in downloads, starting at approximately 6K in the first week of April and ending at around 3K by late June. Weekly active users also experienced a slight decrease from 75K to 72K over the quarter.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel generated revenue fluctuating between $11K and $36K per week, with downloads peaking at nearly 5K in early April before dipping to around 2K by the end of June. Active users hovered between 14K and 18K weekly.

Black Deck - Card Battle TCG showed a more stable revenue stream with a notable peak at $13K in late May. Downloads varied, reaching a high of over 3K in mid-April and falling to around 2.5K by the quarter's end. Active user numbers remained consistent, ranging from 32K to 34K each week.

Mighty Party: Battle Heroes had its revenue oscillating between $11K and $14K weekly. The game experienced a spike in downloads in mid-May with over 5K, but returned to an average of 2K to 4K towards June. Weekly active user count saw a significant rise from 36K in late April to 47K in the last week of June.

Loop Hero, released at the end of April, started with high initial downloads at 8.6K, which later settled to around 1.7K by late June. Revenue showed a decreasing trend starting at $8K and dropping to under $1K. Active users peaked at 5K in late May and slightly decreased to 4K by the end of the quarter.
